Harrison Assessments

> Concept

Harrison Assessments is an assessment instrument conceived by Dan Harrison based on a research that lasted 30 years. The instrument was meant to combine the precision of the mathematical and statistical instruments with the results of the psychological studies regarding the relation between preferences and performance.

The novelty element of this instrument is the way it quantifies the grade in which certain requirements of a position are developed for a certain person, which allows the assessment of the individuals taking into account the role they have/ target at a certain moment in the organization.

The Harrison Assessments system can design a job description – a template containing the description of key competences the candidates have to possess in order to successfully accomplish the requirements of a certain position, allowing the assessment of the candidates in close connection to the prospective position.

The assessment using Harrison Assessment instrument consists in the administration of a Romanian - language questionnaire in printed or online version on the web. Filling in the questionnaire takes around 20 – 30 minutes and has an index that specifies the candidate’s consistency in answering the questions. The candidate scoring and the reports are elaborated online, almost instantly.

The advantages of the system consist in the increased efficiency in managing the questionnaire and generating the reports.

The HA system can be used in the following contexts:
